Sales Manager (Corporate)
Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for meeting the sales targets for Corporate Sales
  • Be able to speak and read Mandarin so as to tap the China Market
  • Establishes sales objectives and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and revenue from various segments.
  • Develops and manages sales operating budgets as well as analyses and controls expenditures of team to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Develops and recommends account positioning and respective account pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Oversees a team and conducts performance evaluations to develop and control sales leaders.
  • Directs market development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Represents Company at industry association meetings, exhibitions, industry events to promote the brand and hotels.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Achieve targeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability. 
Candidate Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Preferably those with at least five (5) years of prior working experience in this position. Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Good sales & marketing skills; ability to prepare proposals with creative selling skills and ideas.
  • Good written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Ability to communicate in multiple local dialects will be added advantage.
  • 5­ day work week but candidates must be prepared to work long hours and to work on week­ ends / public holidays.
